Does anyone have more info about Joseph Schroeder's background or his mental state leading up to this incident? It's so disturbing to think about what the child went through, but I'm also curious about how someone ends up in such a desperate situation twice in one year. It seems like there may have been signs that he needed help long before this tragedy occurred. I hope his family finds some peace and that they get the support they need. It's such a tough situation all around.
