Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Edmund Adams and I’ve been thinking a lot about the surrounding area where the tragedy happened—Washington Gardens. From what I've read, it seems like that complex has been struggling with violence for quite some time now. Has anyone here heard if there have been any community efforts or initiatives to address these issues since Edmund's death? It feels like the safest communities are those where neighbors look out for each other, but I can't imagine how difficult it must be to foster that kind of environment when fear hangs over the neighborhood. Edmund’s death shouldn’t just become another statistic. I really hope that in addition to seeking justice, the community focus can shift towards creating a safer space for everyone.
