I’ve been thinking a lot about Darius "Newport" Mitchell's kids and how they must be coping these past years. Losing a parent at such a young age is incredibly difficult, and I hope they have a strong support network to help them through this unimaginable time. It’s comforting to know that their community, friends, and family have been there to share memories and offer love and guidance. I imagine the family gatherings and school events might feel bittersweet without Darius there to celebrate with them. Does anyone know if there have been any community initiatives or fundraisers set up to support his children? It would be great if there was a way for more people to get involved and help. ?
