Does anyone else feel totally unsettled by how public this tragic event was? I keep thinking about how many people, including kids, witnessed the shooting. It's just chilling to imagine being there and seeing such violence unfold right in front of you. Watching the footage must have been incredibly tough for the jury and everyone in court. It’s a haunting reminder of how gun violence can erupt in everyday places, shattering the sense of safety we take for granted. My heart goes out to Marcel Tyrice Harris' family, especially his daughters, who have to grow up with this trauma. How do you even begin to explain something so senseless to a child? This case is such a glaring example of how one reckless decision can ruin countless lives in seconds. Anyone else have thoughts on how public spaces can be better protected, or is it just a frightening reality we have to live with?
