I was reading about Cory's case and something that caught my attention was the fact she was given a cellphone by her guide. It's really odd that there's no trace of her after that point. Did they check to see if the phone had any sort of tracking enabled? Even a cheap, basic phone can sometimes be pinged by the service provider. It might provide some clue as to where she went after passing mile marker 21. Anyone here know if they found any belongings or footprints near that area? It's like she just vanished into thin air.
Hey everyone, I'm really perplexed by how Cory's guide gave her a cellphone. I mean, that's definitely resourceful, but was it a pre-paid phone or something that could be tracked easily? It's strange that with all the technology we have, law enforcement hasn't been able to trace her movements or gather any leads from it. Does anyone know if the authorities have checked phone records or if there might be any pings from nearby cell towers? It's haunting to think that she might have left some digital trail that we just can’t find yet. What are your thoughts on how this aspect might fit into Cory's case?
Hey everyone,
I’ve been following the case of Cory who went missing after crossing into the U.S. at Sasabe. One thing that’s been bothering me is the use of the cellphone given to her by her guide. Was there any signal in the area, and if so, did anyone manage to track the last known pings or any potential calls she might have made? It seems crucial to figure out whether she even had a chance to ask for help or if the phone was just a decoy. Any tech-savvy folks here who can shed light on how effective phones are in that kind of terrain? Hoping we can brainstorm some ideas to help the authorities with new leads.
