I'm really feeling for Deauntra's family and friends as they continue to wait for answers in his case. It's been six years now, and still, no arrests or suspects mean they must be living in constant uncertainty. I can't imagine how tough that must be. It makes me think about the difficulties investigators face when they don't have enough leads or when potential witnesses might feel threatened or afraid to speak up. Sometimes I wonder if there might be more that could be done to support communities in these situations, encouraging people to come forward with any information they might have. If anyone out there has information, even if they think it's insignificant, it could be the key to finding justice for Deauntra and his loved ones. Hoping for some progress soon.
