I've been following the tragic case of Van Dyke Cason and Freddie Howard, and my heart goes out to their families and the Gary, Indiana community. I can't imagine the pain they're going through, especially with so few answers months after the tragedy. One thing I've been wondering about is the timing of the incident. Given the early hour it was reported, around 1:56 a.m., it makes me wonder if they were targeted or if it was a random act of violence. Was there any indication they might have been followed or if someone knew they would be at that location? It's a small comfort to know that the investigation is still ongoing, but I hope the police can find some solid leads soon. The Cason family deserves closure, and their loved ones should be remembered for the joy they brought into this world, rather than how they were taken. If anyone has more information or local insights, sharing them might help keep the public awareness high and maybe even shake loose some new information.

Does anyone else find it strange that we haven't heard much about any suspects or persons of interest in the Cason and Howard case? It's been a while now, and I can't help but feel for their families. They deserve closure and some form of justice. Considering how caring and dedicated Van Dyke was, both in his work as a CNA and with his handyman services, it really hits hard to think his life was cut short in such a senseless way. You'd think given the double homicide, there'd be more urgency in solving it. I just hope Gary PD is still actively investigating and not letting this become another cold case. If anyone has heard any updates or knows more about how we can support the families, please share. It’s crucial that we keep their memories alive and push for answers.
