I've been thinking a lot about the aspects of Ashton's life that often get overlooked when we focus solely on the tragic circumstances of his death. From what I gather, he was deeply committed to his craft as a barber, having gone through Chosen Christian Beauty and Barber College to earn his license. It speaks volumes about his dedication to not only providing for his family but also pursuing something he was passionate about. I can't help but think about the clients who must miss his skill and the conversations they'd share sitting in his chair. It's a small but significant part of his life that surely brought him pride and connection with others.
It’s utterly devastating how a young father with such talent and potential was taken from his loved ones and community. I wish there was more progress in the investigation for his family’s sake. They deserve answers and closure if that is even possible in this horrible situation. If anyone recalls seeing or hearing anything that night, please reach out to the authorities. Has anyone heard any updates about the surveillance footage in Ashton's case? I remember reading early on that there were some cameras in nearby businesses and on a few homes in the area. It’s frustrating that it’s been so long without any clear leads. I can't imagine the pain his family must be going through, not knowing who did this to him. Ashton deserves justice, and his little boy deserves answers. Hoping someone comes forward with new information soon. Stay strong, everyone.
