Has anyone else been following the case of Katey Swiney? I’ve been digging around for any updates since her disappearance from Southfield, and it got me thinking about the visibility of cases like hers. It's really puzzling how someone can just vanish without leaving a trace. Katey disappeared in 2019, and I’ve noticed there’s been almost zero media attention on her case over the years. Was there ever a public campaign or anything to bring more eyes to her situation? It always baffles me how some missing persons cases end up getting widespread attention while others just kind of fade away. Wondering if there’s anything we as a community can do to reignite some attention on her situation. Any ideas on advocacy or local groups that might be involved?
