I came across Bryan Njoroge's case while reading through some online forums, and it just struck me how much more awareness we need around mental health, especially for our soldiers. Bryan, like so many others, must have been battling inner demons that we couldn't see. It’s a stark reminder that we need to listen more and judge less, particularly when it comes to mental wellness. One thing that really hit home was learning about the shooting range gun. How did someone in his position manage to access it? It raises questions about security and accessibility protocols in such places. This is not to place blame, but we need to ensure stronger safety nets within our mental health and security systems to prevent tragedies like this. If there’s any positive takeaway here, it's the conversations that Bryan’s passing has initiated. We owe it to him and others like him to advocate for better support systems both inside and outside the military. My heart goes out to everyone who knew and loved Bryan—his loss is felt deeply.
