I've been following Trevon Bonds' case and it's just so hard to wrap my head around the fact that he had his whole life ahead of him. I came across a statement from one of his coaches who mentioned how Trevon always brought uplifting energy to the locker room. It's devastating to think that someone who embodied so much hope and potential could be taken away so soon. It's just tragic how gun violence snatched away what could have been a promising future in sports, possibly helping him achieve his dreams. I can't help but feel for his family and friends who are left dealing with this immense loss. It’s stories like these that really make you realize how important it is for communities to come together and find ways to keep our youth safe.
