I've been following the case of Nicholas Edwards and his friends, and I can't stop thinking about the impact it's had on their families. It's been over five years now, and the pain they must feel is unimaginable. I came across an interview with one of Heather Talley's family members, and it was so touching to hear them talk about her love for animals and her dream of opening a rescue shelter someday. It just makes me think about how much of this bright future was stolen from her and Nick and Darius.
