I've been trying to wrap my head around this, and I keep coming back to Amanda's role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She dedicated her life to helping people through their toughest times, yet it seems no one saw this tragedy coming. It's so troubling to think about the pressures she might have been dealing with, both at work and at home, while trying to support her own family. It's sad how little we sometimes know about what goes on behind closed doors. I wonder if there were signs of distress that went unnoticed or if she felt trapped and unable to reach out for help. Even in a small, tight-knit community like Shirley, things can fall through the cracks. My heart goes out to Amanda's colleagues and clients, too—they must be feeling this loss deeply. Maybe there's something we can learn from this to prevent such tragedies in the future. Has anyone else read about resources or programs that focus on providing support not just to individuals in crisis but also to those around them?

It's been a little over five years since the senseless loss of Amanda and young Kendal Langdon, and the pain remains fresh for many who knew them. I came across a beautiful tribute posted by one of Amanda’s colleagues at Kane Loveridge Wellness Group. It seems Amanda was more than just a Licensed Mental Health Counselor; she was a beacon of hope and support for so many families in their community. I heard she would often go the extra mile, organizing workshops and support groups just so parents and children could find a safe space to communicate and heal. It’s devastating that someone so dedicated to helping others had her life cut short so tragically. My heart goes out to those who were touched by her kindness and wisdom. I can only hope we honor her legacy by continuing to support those in need around us. Has anyone heard if there’s a memorial or scholarship fund set up in her name?

I've been thinking about Amanda Langdon and how the community has been coping since that tragic day in July 2018. I can’t imagine the pain her friends and family must be feeling. I read that Amanda was really committed to her role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Kane Loveridge Wellness Group. It breaks my heart that someone who dedicated her life to helping others was taken in such a tragic way. Has anyone heard how the team at Kane Loveridge is holding up? It must be incredibly difficult to lose a colleague and friend so suddenly, especially when they were part of a close-knit team. Sending love and strength to all those who knew and cared for Amanda, Justin, and little Kendal. It's so important for those left behind to lean on each other during such a devastating time.
