Has anyone else noticed how much the community rallied around Terry Bates’ family after his tragic passing? From attending the services at Payne Funeral Home to showing up at all the court hearings, it’s like everyone just united to support his loved ones. I remember reading about all the candles and flowers left at a makeshift memorial near where the incident happened. It’s this kind of support that hopefully gives the family some strength as they navigate through the legal proceedings and try to find some peace. How important do you all think community support is when dealing with such a devastating event? It just makes you wonder about the impact such kindness can have on the healing process.
