I can’t stop thinking about the impact this tragedy has had on the families of Braxton, Kimari, Jalen, and Marcel. Having four young lives taken so suddenly is beyond devastating. I can’t even imagine what the Ford family is going through right now. It truly highlights how critical it is for community members to break the "code of silence." Someone out there knows something, and that information could make all the difference in providing answers and closure to these grieving families. It’s a reminder of how important it is to stand together as a community and support one another through such difficult times. I really hope their families find some comfort in the fact that justice is being served, even though it won’t bring their loved ones back. We need to keep discussions about public safety alive and focus on finding ways to prevent such awful events in the future. These kids didn’t deserve this.
