Hey everyone, I just wanted to share some thoughts I've been having about the heartbreaking case of Rodgerick Payne Jr. The fact that this sweet child was just having dinner at home when his life was taken is beyond tragic. It's hard not to feel a deep sense of injustice knowing how suddenly his young life was interrupted, all because of a stray bullet. I keep thinking about Detective Edwards and how tough it must be, not just for the family, but also for the community and the officers working on this case. They're trying so hard to piece together what happened that day. Rodgerick’s love for reading and riding his bike, as mentioned by the detective, really paints a picture of an energetic and curious young boy whose life was senselessly cut short. It's deeply frustrating there aren't more leads. I sincerely hope that as people reflect on this tragedy, someone remembers something that might help push the investigation forward. This little guy deserves justice and his family needs closure. Sending thoughts to Rodgerick’s family, and hoping every day that answers come soon.
