Wow, it's been over three years since Robert's tragic death, and it’s so hard to believe that there hasn't been justice yet. I can't imagine the pain his family must feel not having closure. Robert seemed like such a wonderful young man with a bright future ahead of him, and it's just devastating to know that someone could take that away.
I’m curious about the claims that it was an "isolated incident." Does anyone have any thoughts on what that might imply? Maybe there was a specific motive or some knowledge we aren't privy to? It's puzzling how, despite involving multiple agencies, leads appear so scarce. My heart really goes out to his loved ones left hoping for answers.
If anyone from the community has any information, even something seemingly small, I hope they find the courage to come forward. Robert and his family deserve to have their questions answered.
I keep thinking about how this crime might be connected to unsolved cases in the area. Has anyone looked into whether there are any patterns or similarities with other incidents in Merrillville or nearby towns around that time? Robert's case seems so isolated, yet it's puzzling that there have been no leads or suspects even after all these months. I wonder if expanding the search or collaborating with other counties and their unsolved cases could bring about new information. It's just so unsettling to think that someone out there knows something, and Marce's family and friends have to live with this unresolved pain. If anyone has insight or ideas on how this could be approached, please share. I hope we can keep his memory alive and push forward for answers.
Hey everyone,
I've been following Robert David-Hughes' case closely since it happened, and I've been thinking a lot about his family and friends these days. I recently came across a mention that Robert was a big animal lover, and it got me wondering if there were any particular stories or incidents involving him and animals that his friends or family have shared. Sometimes, these little personal details can bring a bit of comfort, knowing how much joy he must have spread through such a simple love. Do any locals or acquaintances remember stories about him with animals? Maybe it could shed some light on what a caring person he was or even, in some way, help with the investigation by connecting the dots about the kind of people he surrounded himself with. Keeping Robert and his loved ones in my thoughts.
Stay safe, everyone.
