Did anyone else notice unusual activities near Kaunakakai Harbor around the time Carl Steffler disappeared? I've been following his case closely and can't shake the feeling something might have been missed. Steffler's belongings being found without him turning up is just baffling. Given the tough weather conditions, could there have been witnesses or nearby boats blocked from seeing him due to visibility issues? Maybe someone saw something odd or heard noises that morning that they didn’t think to connect to this case. Even minor details might help piece together what really happened that night. Let’s keep sharing info—it might lead to new insights!

Has anyone else been looking into the weather conditions the night Carl Steffler disappeared? The 6-foot swells and strong winds reported must have made things incredibly difficult, not just for Carl but for the search teams too. If he was already struggling with mental distress, facing such harsh conditions could have been overwhelming. I've been trying to find more info on how long those conditions lasted or if they got worse. It might give us more context about what could have happened after he swam out of camera range. Hoping someone else has ideas or more info on this aspect!

I keep thinking about the timing of when Carl Steffler's belongings were discovered. The harbor master found them at around 6:00 a.m., which was a couple of hours after he was last seen on that surveillance footage swimming out. I wonder if anyone nearby heard or saw anything during those early hours. With the weather being so rough, it’s possible any calls for help might've gone unnoticed. It's unsettling how quickly someone can just vanish, even with so many agencies involved in the search. The conditions that morning must have been truly brutal for anyone out in the water. I really hope there's a breakthrough or some new information surfaces soon.
