I've been following Meghan Rose Schwab's case and something that's been on my mind is the presence of surveillance cameras in the area where the incident took place. Castleton, being a busy area, likely has several businesses with external cameras. I wonder if the police accessed footage that could give more context to what led up to the shooting. This could be especially important to counter any fabrications from the accused regarding being the victim or Meghan supposedly attempting a robbery—claims that don't seem to align with her character.
It's hard not to feel deeply for her family, especially her fiancé and little Amoni, having to navigate life without her. Meghan's dreams and her vibrant, caring personality were tragically taken away. I hope the investigation turns over every stone to bring justice for Meghan and her loved ones. If there's any truth to these claims of surveillance footage, it could play a pivotal role in clarifying the tragic events of that day.
Anyone else find it absolutely chilling that this tragedy happened in such a public area like Castleton? It’s unsettling to know that Meghan was just going about her day in a seemingly safe spot. Also, the whole situation of crashing into an assisted living facility is just so haunting. I can't stop thinking about her poor family, especially her fiancé and baby girl. Though we can't change what happened, being aware of safety in community locations and looking out for each other is something we can all do. Sending love and strength to those who knew Meghan. ??
