I can't stop thinking about the impact this must have had on Karla's family. I can't even begin to imagine the pain they’re going through. Her brother, Cristian, seems to have lost not just a sister but a future business partner and best friend. It's so touching that Karla had such clear ambitions and dreams at just 16. Her aspiration to start a business with her brother shows such an inspiring level of closeness and mutual respect. I hope their family finds some comfort in the beautiful memories of Karla and that her entrepreneurial spirit continues to inspire those who knew her. These senseless acts of violence leave lifelong scars, and it’s just incredibly sad to see young lives with so much potential cut short due to preventable circumstances. Keeping this family in my thoughts.
