I’ve been thinking a lot about Hakeem's dreams and aspirations and how they were so unjustly cut short. From what I understand, he was really passionate about psychology and was carving out a bright future for himself at Indiana Tech. It seems like he had a real gift for connecting with people and wanted to make a positive impact through his studies. It’s just so tragic that someone with so much potential and kindness was taken away so suddenly and violently.
I can only imagine the hole his loss has left in the lives of his friends, family, and classmates. It's truly commendable how the police and community came together to seek justice, but it must still be an incredibly difficult time for all who knew him. Sending my heartfelt thoughts to his loved ones as they continue to navigate through this painful time.
