I've been following Jayden Brown's case since it happened, and I feel compelled to talk about something that often gets overlooked — the impact on his friends. I can't imagine what it must be like for those who were close to him, especially those around his age, trying to process such a traumatic event. The ripple effects of losing a friend to violence can be so profound. Support systems are crucial, but it's just so hard for young people to deal with this kind of tragedy. If anyone here is from the area or knows what kind of support might be available for Jayden's friends, it would be great to share it. They deserve to have resources to help them navigate through their grief. It's just one more reason why we need to be addressing gun violence with everything we've got. It’s devastating to think of more young folks going through this. My heart truly goes out to everyone missing Jayden; I'm hoping for justice and healing for all involved.
