Has anyone else looked into the discrepancies surrounding Pheaster's confession? The fact that he admitted Doloris accidentally died during the procedure but her remains were never found seems so suspect to me. I mean, if he confessed and passed a polygraph, why couldn't they locate her body? It's unsettling that someone could confess to a crime, and yet the evidence—or lack thereof—prevents any resolution. It makes me wonder if he was telling the whole truth or if there's more to the story about where he actually left her. And given his later involvement in more serious crimes, it feels like there might be layers we're missing. What do you all think? Is there potential that Pheaster might have had help, or could he have misled investigators about the location to protect someone else? Curious to hear everyone’s thoughts. ?
Has anyone looked into the possibility of Pheaster having an accomplice when he disposed of Doloris's body? It strikes me as odd that despite his confession, they never found her remains. It seems like a daunting task to do all on your own, especially if he was trying to be discreet. Maybe someone else knew what really happened and helped cover it up, or there's a chance he shared information about other locations at some point and those leads were never fully pursued. Just a thought, but in cases like these, exploring every angle might shed new light. Curious to hear what others think!
Has anyone ever dug deeper into Pheaster's connections around Long Beach at the time of Doloris's disappearance? It's unsettling how he seemed to evade capture for different offenses over the years. Given his later criminal involvement, like the 1974 kidnapping for ransom, do you think there might have been a bigger network he was a part of? It's strange no remains were ever found despite his confession. Maybe someone else helped him cover up what happened, or they knew more than they ever admitted. Any old timers here who were in the area back in the '60s and remember hearing anything? Just trying to see if there's a missing piece that might shed light on where Doloris could be.
