Jasvinder Kaur and the others lost that day were simply at work, somewhere they should have felt secure. It wasn't just an attack on individuals but on a community of hardworking people. We need to ask ourselves not only how we ensure proper mental health support and intervention but also how workplaces can better protect their employees. What changes could make a difference? Could better communication between law enforcement and places of employment prevent future tragedies? It's essential we explore these avenues to honor the victims and protect others. My heart goes out to all the families forever impacted — their resilience in fighting for change is truly admirable.
