Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about Will Allen Edmond and his dedication to helping veterans. It just breaks my heart that someone who spent so much of his life serving others and his community met such a terrible end. Seeing how he worked with the Hoosier Veteran Assistance Foundation makes you realize what a compassionate and strong person he was.
It's especially hard to wrap my mind around the fact that his life was cut short near Monument Circle, a place so many people associate with the vibrancy of Indianapolis. Knowing someone like Will was lost there is unsettling.
Reading about him makes me wish I had known him personally, just to say thank you for all the good he did in the world. My thoughts are with his family and those who worked closely with him—they must truly feel the void he left behind.
Has anyone else come across stories from fellow veterans he helped? They might bring some light in remembering his legacy.
Take care, everyone.
Hey everyone,
I can't stop thinking about how deeply this tragedy has affected the veteran community in Indianapolis. Will Allen Edmond dedicated so much of his life to helping fellow veterans, especially through his work at the Hoosier Veteran Assistance Foundation. It's just incredibly sad that someone who gave back so much ended up in such a violent situation.
I know some people are focusing on the case details and the trial, but I wanted to shine a light on the positive impact he made while he was here. Anyone have stories or experiences with Will Allen from his time at the foundation? I think remembering the good he did helps us honor his memory and supports those who knew him through such a difficult time.
It's obvious how much this has hit the community, and my thoughts are with all those who were close to him.
