I've been diving into some of the older unsolved cases recently, and Warren Zappelli's disappearance really caught my attention. Mendocino seems like a small, tight-knit community, and I can't imagine how a child could disappear without leaving some kind of trace. I wonder if there are areas around Mendocino that weren't searched thoroughly back then, or maybe places that have changed significantly since 1971. Has anyone looked into whether more recent developments—like construction or new trails—could have uncovered new evidence without anyone realizing it? It's so frustrating that after all these years, we're still left with more questions than answers.
