I've been thinking a lot about the area where Marshall Shute was shot. The Sycamore Heights neighborhood is known to be pretty quiet, so this kind of violence feels so out of place. I can't imagine what his family must be going through, not only losing someone they love but knowing it happened in an area where they likely felt safe. It's a stark reminder that violence can occur anywhere, anytime. I really hope the community bands together to provide any info they might have to the police. My heart goes out to Marshall's family and friends during this unimaginably difficult time. Let's all keep pushing for answers and justice for Marshall.
