I’ve been following Arlene Shelton's case closely, and I keep thinking about the role of the community in solving such tragic events. It’s hard to wrap my head around how someone could be taken away from us in this way, and I can't imagine the pain her loved ones must be going through right now. What's so frustrating is the lack of clarity around the sequence of events that night. We've heard she was in a vehicle at the time of the shooting. Was the shooter in the car with her, or was it some kind of drive-by situation? It’s chilling to think these answers remain elusive, and it underlines how crucial witness testimonies or even small bits of information from the community could be in piecing together a clearer picture. I hope the Fort Wayne community rallies to support law enforcement. If anyone out there saw or heard anything—no matter how insignificant it may seem—it could be the missing piece everyone needs. Here's hoping for a break in the case soon, for Arlene and for those who care about her.
