Hey everyone, I recently came across the disappearance of Richard and Keith Zimmerman, and I’m curious if anyone has ever discussed the weather conditions on the day they went missing, June 26, 1977? It's known that in Alaska, sudden weather changes can have a massive impact, especially on an open body of water like Kenai Lake. If the weather turned, it might have contributed to their canoeing accident. Does anyone have info on what the weather was like that day or how it might have affected their trip? Thanks in advance for any insights!

Hey everyone, I've been looking into the case of Richard and Keith who disappeared on Kenai Lake back in '77. I stumbled across old articles mentioning a storm that blew through the area around the time they went missing. I wonder if the weather played a bigger role than originally thought. Does anyone know what kind of precautions they'd typically take at the time for sudden weather changes? Maybe the locals have insights on how common it was for canoeists to go out despite rough conditions back then. Just curious if anyone else has come across similar info or theories.
