Wow, I can't even begin to imagine the pain Lisa Renee Long's friends and family are going through right now. I was struck by how deep her dedication to both her family and church ran. From the few bits and pieces I've gathered, she seemed like someone who would always go the extra mile for others. It's so upsetting that people wearing these kinds of invisible capes aren't immune to tragedies like this. It makes me wonder what kind of support structures exist for families facing internal struggles that might not be visible to the outside world. Clearly, everyone is left grappling with unanswered questions, and it's during these times the community's support can be crucial. If anyone from the area knows of any vigils or community gatherings happening in honor of Lisa and her family, please share. Even though moving on feels impossible right now, coming together might be a small step towards healing.
