Did anyone else see the interview with Jasmyn Harvey, the resident who discovered the crime scene after coming home? Her account really hit me. It's completely understandable to feel unsafe in your own neighborhood after something so tragic happens right at your doorstep. I can’t even imagine how Terence’s family must feel, and then to have your home, a place where you’re supposed to feel secure, be disrupted like that. We're all hoping for justice for Terence, but also for some peace for his family and everyone affected by this tragedy. It's frustrating how long these investigations can take, but I truly hope someone from the community comes forward with information to help solve this. Stay safe, everyone.
Every time I hear about another young life lost to violence in our community, it hits me hard. Terence Plummer III was just starting his journey, and now his story has been abruptly ended. I live not too far from where this terrible event took place, and the news has left many of us here on edge. It's scary knowing this happened so close to home.
I feel for his family and friends who must be going through an unimaginable time right now. Terence had his whole life ahead of him, and it’s a tragedy that he won’t get the chance to fulfill his dreams. As community members, we need to look out for one another and support each other during times like this. The fact that someone was there and cooperated gives me hope that answers are coming, but the waiting must be so difficult for those who knew him.
If anyone has a way to help get justice for Terence, please don’t hold back. Even the smallest piece of information could make a huge difference. My thoughts are with all those affected.
I'm really sorry to hear about the tragic death of Terence Plummer III. It's so unsettling to think about something like this happening in broad daylight and right in a place where people are just trying to go about their daily lives. I keep thinking about what Jasmyn Harvey said—how frightening it must be to come home and see your building turned into a crime scene. I can’t imagine the distress for her and the rest of the residents. This surge in violence is so troubling.
One thing that stands out to me is how Detective Daniel Smith and the IMPD are encouraging folks to come forward with any information. It seems like someone out there might hold the key to resolving this tragedy. I really hope people speak up and that Terence's family can eventually find some peace. The fact that someone has cooperated with the police gives me a bit of hope, but still, it’s nerve-wracking to wait and see if justice will be served. Does anyone else around here have any insight into how these investigations usually proceed, or have there been any similar cases in that area? I'm wishing strength to Terence’s loved ones during this incredibly tough time.
