Has anyone else been following the case of Steven Wade Childress? I’ve been thinking a lot about how the level of gun violence has impacted so many families, and Steven’s story is a tragic reminder of this. It’s deeply poignant how his family asked for a 24-hour ceasefire in his memory. It feels like such a powerful yet simple plea for change. I can't help but wonder why we haven't heard more about the investigation. It's baffling that there's been no significant news about arrests or suspects. It seems like the community should be demanding more answers. I genuinely hope that someone, somewhere, is working tirelessly to get justice for Steven and bring some peace to his family. My heart goes out to his parents, Emma and Arnold, and especially his younger brother, Briceton, who must be struggling so much right now. Sending strength and love to everyone who was touched by Steven’s life. He clearly made a positive impact on those around him.
