Has anyone else been following the details about the person of interest in the tragic shooting that took Ashanti Moneek Brown's life? I can't imagine what her family is going through, especially since no charges have been filed yet. It must be incredibly frustrating and painful to have no clear answers or justice. I know there's been a lot of emphasis on the investigation being handled by the Lake County Metro Homicide Division, and they're urging any witnesses to come forward. I'm really hoping this leads to somebody that can provide more insights into what happened that night. There were so many people at that block party, there must be someone who knows more. It's so tough seeing promising young lives like Ashanti's cut short. She had such beautiful ambitions and hope for her future as a nurse. As a community, we need to push for more support on anti-violence initiatives that can prevent tragic events like this in the future. Anyone else have thoughts on how we can encourage folks to come forward with information?
