Has anyone else been following the developments around Shaquille Russell's murder? I can’t stop thinking about the witnesses who had to testify. It must've taken a lot of courage to stand up in court and recount what they saw, knowing they'd be face-to-face with the man accused of such a terrible crime. I'm sure their testimonies were crucial in getting a conviction. My heart goes out to Shaquille’s loved ones—isn’t it a comfort, at least in some small way, that the community came together to bring justice for him? But still, it’s so hard to accept these things happen over what seems like nothing. What a senseless loss.
