I’ve been following Krystal Walton’s case, and I can't stop thinking about the terrifying environment her children must have been in when the tragedy struck. Imagine kids being at a daycare, a place meant to be safe and nurturing, witnessing such horror. It must have been so traumatizing for them. It’s not just about the immediate impact but the long-term effects on those young minds. I really hope they're getting the support and counseling they need to process this trauma. It’s so difficult to wrap my head around how anyone could carry out such violence in front of children, let alone at a place like a daycare center. I can’t imagine the fear and confusion they must have felt. Krystal’s friends and family, especially those children, have been in my thoughts constantly. Let's hope some real changes come from this, so no other family has to go through such a devastating loss.
