Has anyone else thought about the significance of the spaghetti found in Shawn Simmons's stomach? It feels like such a small, mundane detail, but it might be a key to understanding his final hours. If it was his "last meal," do we know if it was part of the romantic evening his former lover described? Could this meal have been shared with his killer? It's chilling to consider that someone he might have trusted was in his home, sharing a meal with him, only to betray him. There’s something so profoundly unsettling about that idea. It just breaks my heart to think about the trust that was violated in Shawn’s last moments. If this meal could point to who was really with him that night, it feels like a lead that shouldn’t be ignored even after all these years. Wishing strength to Shawn’s family as they continue to wait for answers.

Hey everyone, I've been diving into the details of the Shawn Simmons case from '95, and something caught my attention that makes it all even more unsettling. Seeing how his apartment manager was the one to discover him, it got me thinking about how rare it is for the people who help manage our daily lives to stumble upon something so tragic. I can't imagine the trauma she must've faced walking into that scene—just doing what seems like another routine check, and then suddenly encountering such horror. It's fascinating, and frankly quite sad, that sometimes the folks who are just going about their daily work become pivotal parts of these cases, whether by discovery or just being involved in the narrative somehow. I hope she was able to get the support she needed after experiencing something so jarring. Shawn's case still baffles me—especially with the scene looking staged. It just adds more layers to this mystery. It's frustrating that there's still no answer, no justice for Shawn or for the family. Really hoping that one day, someone comes forward with the piece of the puzzle that finally brings closure. Thoughts are with those who knew and loved him. What do you all think? Do cases like this ever get resolved from grassroots efforts or renewed interest from the public? Stay safe out there.

Has anyone else ever read into the part about the snow outside Shawn’s apartment? The apartment manager mentioned no recent footprints leading up to the door, which seems bizarre considering someone obviously had to be there. Does this mean the person responsible might have entered earlier in the day, before the snowfall began, or is it possible they had some other way of entering? The snow could hold clues that we might be overlooking—like, did the killer park somewhere else and come around a back way, or even live in the same complex? Thoughts? I feel such deep sympathy for Shawn's family and friends trying to find answers after all these years. It’s hard to imagine continuing on without knowing.
