I've been reading through old case files and came across the puzzling disappearance of Daniel and Peter from 1980. Has anyone else delved into the weather conditions that day? Old Harbor and Sitkalidak Island can be pretty treacherous, especially if the weather took a turn for the worse unexpectedly. If there were high waves or a sudden storm, it could explain why there weren't any signs of a struggle or debris recovered. I'm wondering if any meteorological records from that period exist. They might provide some clarity on what happened out there. Anyone with insights or ideas on where to find such records?
