I was just thinking about how the small details can crack a case wide open, like in Kevan Anthony Akbar's tragic murder. I was really shocked to learn that something as seemingly minor as a phone dropped at the scene can tie a suspect to such a horrible crime. It’s hard to imagine how the families must feel, knowing a cell phone, of all things, helped bring some justice for Kevan. With Tiyuan Johnson having been arrested and convicted, I hope it provides at least a fragment of comfort to those who knew and loved Kevan. It’s a chilling reminder of how quickly life can change and how important these investigations are for the sake of the victim's family and community healing. Still hoping more answers come soon regarding the others involved—every piece of justice matters here.
