I’ve been thinking a lot about the Shaw case, and it’s just so hard to wrap my mind around. I can’t imagine the pain their family must be feeling right now. There’s something incredibly haunting about the isolation in situations like these—two people living together, and no one steps in until it’s too late. It makes me wonder: how do we, as a community, recognize the signs before another life is lost? There’s got to be a way that we can connect more deeply with those around us to prevent such tragedies. My heart goes out to Susan’s loved ones. It’s just so incredibly sad.

I’m so sorry to hear about the tragic loss of Susan Anne Shaw. It’s unimaginable for the community and especially devastating for their loved ones. I've been thinking about the welfare check call — those officers must have had such a heavy burden finding them like that. It's a reminder of the importance of reaching out and supporting our neighbors and friends who might be silently struggling. If anyone knows more about the Shaw family, like if there were any signs of trouble, it might help us understand how to prevent such tragedies in the future. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this terrible event.
