It's so distressing to hear about Dianne Cook's situation. It makes you wonder about the struggles she must have been facing behind closed doors. Even though Dianne and Barri were legally divorced, they were still living in the same house. I can't imagine what that must have been like for her. The fact that there were previous welfare checks is concerning, and it begs the question of whether more could have been done. I think it's important to reflect on how complicated and emotionally charged domestic situations can be. Just because someone is no longer legally bound doesn't mean they're free of emotional ties or the potential for danger. My thoughts are with Dianne's family and friends as they navigate this unimaginable tragedy. If any good is to come from this, perhaps it will serve as a wake-up call for better support systems for people in similar situations.
