I was just reading up on the Su Cha Thomas case again, and something that struck me was the absolute courage and determination of the investigation team. The way they coordinated internationally to track down Timothy Dale Bunch in Japan is commendable. It's hard enough to solve a crime locally, let alone having to navigate legal and diplomatic hurdles overseas. I can only imagine how relieved and grateful Su Cha’s loved ones must have felt once they knew Bunch was finally in custody and would face justice. It shows how crucial international cooperation can be in these types of cases and gives hope that others fleeing justice won't evade capture.
