Did anyone else come across the theory that Detective Joyner might have been getting too close to exposing something big with that gun-smuggling operation? It makes me wonder if whoever was involved in the smuggling felt like they had no choice but to silence him. It's a scary thought that someone felt threatened enough by his work to take such drastic action. My heart goes out to his family for having to endure decades of uncertainty and pain. I can't even imagine what they must be going through, having to relive this nightmare after the case was reopened. Has anyone heard more about any potential connections between his investigation and known criminal organizations of that time? It's so frustrating that we still don't have clear answers after all these years. Hoping for a breakthrough soon.
