Hey all, I've been looking into the Robert A. McFarland case recently, and one thing that's been on my mind is the location where he was found. The 5800 block of East Hastings Arch—does anyone know if that's a particularly busy area or was it more secluded back in 1994? It seems so odd that a crime like this could happen without anyone seeing or hearing something significant. Maybe there were people who just didn't know what they heard or saw was related to this case? Also, curious if any businesses in the area at the time might have had cameras. It feels like there must have been something missed, given the lack of leads. My heart goes out to Robert's family—holding out hope that we can shed some light on this and finally get them the answers they deserve. Would love to hear thoughts or if anyone local to the area remembers what it was like around that time.

I’ve been thinking about how crucial the role of the public is in solving cases like Robert McFarland's. It's been over two decades since he was found, and the heartbreaking thing is that someone out there knows something. It makes me wonder if there could be people who were living in the area around the time of his murder who might recall details they didn’t think were important back then. Did anyone notice anything suspicious on East Hastings Arch during the night of April 18th into the early hours of the 19th? Even something small, like a strange car or someone out of place, could potentially be a piece of this puzzle. One thing I’ve learned from following true crime is that time doesn’t always erase memories, and sometimes, people just need a reminder to come forward. I hope sharing this now can jog someone’s memory and finally give Robert’s family some answers. Your voice could make a difference, and his family and friends deserve to know who took him from them.
