I keep coming back to the reports of a distressed woman on the interstate near the Alabama-Mississippi border. If this was Gwendolyn, what could have happened between Missouri and there? It’s a long drive from Kansas City to that area, and it makes me wonder if she had any contacts along the way or maybe someone coerced her traveling in that direction. It haunts me to think that she might have refused help because she feared something—or someone. So many questions—what could have happened on that road trip? Who else saw her that day? And why did she keep going? It's a chilling detail that just doesn't add up for me. Any theories?
