I was just thinking about Officer Reaves and how it's been so many years since this tragic event. Something that stands out to me is the profound impact his loss must have had on his family, particularly his wife and young children. Losing a loved one is never easy, but to have it happen so suddenly and violently must have been unimaginably difficult. I can’t help but wonder how his family has coped over the years and what support systems were put in place for them. It's good to see communities coming together in such times, but it’s equally important to ensure families feel supported long after the initial grief and media coverage have subsided. I hope they’ve found some peace and continue to be surrounded by love and support.
