Hey everyone,
I've been following the Alan Douglas Livingston case, and a small detail has me wondering lately. Does anyone know if there was any reported activity by the Coosa River back in '83? I mean, were there any unusual events or maybe even any witnesses recalling anything off that stretch of the river near the old Forest River Apartments? It’s perplexing that his Bronco sat there unnoticed for so long! You'd think someone might have spotted something unusual back then—especially in such a seemingly ordinary place. The discovery of the vehicle so close to the apartments after all this time just seems like a missed clue that could've cracked the case earlier. ?
Anyone else find it odd that Alan's last known location was so close to where his Bronco ended up submerged in the Coosa River? I mean, it’s eerie to think that it was right there all along, practically in plain sight! Something about this whole case just doesn’t add up to me. William Roth Jr.'s involvement is suspicious for sure, especially since he admitted to having an argument with Alan. But how does a vehicle end up in the river? Could it really have been an accident or was there foul play involved? With Roth's health declining, it feels like we might never learn the truth. I'd love to hear what others think!
Hey everyone, I’ve been going over details of Alan Livingston’s case, and something about Roth’s inconsistent stories always nags at me. Given his conviction for another murder, it's puzzling how he dodged charges in Livingston's disappearance. With Roth now in a nursing home, I wonder if his health has impacted any possible confessions or further investigations. Has anyone heard of similar cases where a suspect's later health issues influenced the outcome or prevented justice? It’s frustrating to think that critical truths might be lost forever because of time or circumstance. Would love to hear your thoughts or any insight!
