Alan Douglas Livingston, a 25-year-old resident of Rainbow City, Alabama, was last seen on April 16, 1983. Livingston, originally from Ohio, had been living in Alabama for two years, working at the Goodyear tire plant in nearby Gadsden. On April 13, 1983, he visited a friend at the Forest River Apartments, now called Summer Waters Apartments, and was last seen driving his brown 1980 Ford Bronco.
