Just read a little more about Darryl Washington's case, and one thing that really gets me is the timing and location of the shooting. Plow Lane is a residential area, right? So it makes me wonder if someone around there saw or heard anything more specific that night. Unfortunately, this case seems like one of those where someone knows something, but the fear of coming forward can be all too real. I've heard cases where, years down the line, someone finally speaks up and it breaks the case wide open. I'm really hoping that happens here. Darryl and his family deserve justice. If anyone reading this was around Plow Lane back in May 2009 and heard or saw anything, even if it seems insignificant, it might be worth reaching out to the authorities or the Crime Line anonymously. Cases like these break my heart, especially thinking about his loved ones still waiting for answers. Let's hope someone finds the courage to help bring them the peace they deserve.
