Just came across the story of Leo Askew, aka "Lil L," and the tragic events of that night in Chesapeake back in 2010. It's sad to think about how he and Dmitri McNeil's lives were cut short in such a senseless way. I didn't know him personally, but from what I've read, Leo was someone who left an impact on all who knew him. I noticed that there wasn't much surveillance or even street cameras back then, which might have made a difference in solving this case. It's unsettling to think that whoever did this is still not caught. I can't imagine the pain that Leo's mother, Faye, and his siblings are going through, not having closure after all these years. If anyone happens to remember anything about that night or thinks they saw something, even if it seems insignificant, please reach out to the police. Our community owes it to Leo, Dmitri, and their families to continue seeking justice.
