Has anyone else been following the discussions about the gun used in the Parker-Ezzell case? It’s chilling to think about, but I remember reading that the weapon was never actually recovered, which always left me with lingering questions. How did they connect the gun evidence to Brian Thomas Smith without it? I suppose they had enough circumstantial stuff, but it’s still baffling to me how someone could dispose of such a crucial piece of evidence and never have it turn up. My thoughts are with the Parker-Ezzell family, as it must add another layer to their grief knowing there's still a piece of the puzzle missing. If anyone has more insight into how the prosecution handled this aspect, I’d love to hear it.
